Just recently, a developer by the name of Phoenix Game Productions revealed a stylish new first-person action game called Tokyo Underground Killer. Judging by the debut trailer, fans of high-octane action games will likely get a huge kick out of this one.

According to the official website for the game, Tokyo Underground Killer stars the “Shinjuku Vampire” Kobayashi. A killer wielding a mystical katana that uses his enemies’ blood to power himself up, Kobayashi resides in a futuristic neon Tokyo. The city, naturally, houses a seedy criminal underground filled with “lunatics” for him to eviscerate.

He has way more than just the criminal underworld to deal with. A group of mysterious foes known as the Flatliners has invaded Tokyo and opened up “a whole new world of insanity and depravity.”

The gameplay demonstrates how players obtain blood from defeated enemies, which slightly recovers any health lost and grants access to various special attacks.
