Forever Entertainment has worked on remakes for a number of beloved old-school classics in remakes in recent years, with a couple more still to come. In fact, it seems the company has more remake projects in the pipeline than even what’s been officially announced.
Forever Entertainment CEO and president Zbigniew Dębicki revealed the same in an interview with Famitsu, where, in response to a question asking about potential future remakes he’d want to work on, Dębicki said that a new one would be announced sometime later this year.
“There are really too many titles I want to release, even narrowing it down to just ten would be difficult,” he said (translation via Nintendo Everything). “Well, I think even during this year we’ll be able to announce a new remake, so players can look forward to that!”
Over recent years, Forever Entertainment has released the likes of Panzer Dragoon: Remake, The House of the Dead: Remake, and Front Mission 1st Remake, while Front Mission 2 Remake and Front Mission 3 remake are also currently in the works. A release date is currently unknown for the latter, while the former was recently delayed to Q3 of this year.
