A new trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has been shown.
Debuted at Summer Game Fest, the trailer showed Cloud, Aerith, and the rest of the party from the end of the first part of the remake exploring the walls beyond Midgar.
The game will release in “early 2024,” and will come in two discs.

After a series of vague teases from Square, the trailer showed off several combat encounters and full CG cutscenes.
Unlike Final Fantasy 7 Remake, which was released for PS4 in 2020 before making its way to PS5 and PC the following year, Rebirth won’t be available for Sony’s last-gen console.
The next mainline entry in the series, Final Fantasy 16, will be released for PS5 on June 22.
