Square Enix's MMORPG Final Fantasy 14 is now free to play for up to 96 hours until June 30, giving players enough time to beat almost three expansions. The first version of the massively multiplayer online role-playing game launched in 2010, but after overwhelmingly negative reception it was completely reimagined in 2014. Since then Square Enix has frequently held free trials of Final Fantasy 14, and now players can return to the title for free for nearly 100 hours.
As a reimagining of its 2010 predecessor, today's Final Fantasy 14 is considered one of the greatest MMORPGs in the industry. The title has been highly praised for its world design and character progression system, with the persistent world of Eorzea possessing its own simulated player-driven economy. A variety of game modes also let players engage in both PvP and PvE battles with other gamers. Since its release in 2014, Final Fantasy 14 has also enjoyed continued support from Square Enix in the form of updates and expansion packs. The recent FFXIV: Endwalker Patch 6.1, for example, brought with it a number of additions like a casual-friendly PvP mode called Crystalline Conflict.

A new Final Fantasy 14 Free Login Campaign, announced via Twitter, will let players return to Eorzea for free for up to 96 hours of gameplay. As detailed by the Final Fantasy 14 website, the campaign will run from June 15 to June 30 and will be available exclusively to returning players who have a registered version of the game that has been inactive for more than 30 days.
