The FIFA 22 Fantasy FUT season is inching closer to its conclusion with the announcement of the Team of the Season. Amid the rumblings of the split between EA and FIFA, EA Sports is still in the driver's seat for the current installment, and its latest announcement includes 15 cards with improved stats compared to their base game versions.
The 15 players involved in the Team of the Season all play in La Liga, the premier Spanish football league, and sport a rating between 90 and 98, depending on the player involved. The new batch of FIFA 22 Fantasy FUT players is a must-have for players looking to improve their clubs.

The highest-rated player from the batch is Karim Benzema, the Real Madrid striker who registered 27 goals and 12 assists in 31 games this year. He sports a 98-overall rating with 98 in dribbling and shooting, and 95 in passing, closely following his production in La Liga. He's joined by five other Real Madrid players on the list, proving the dominance of one of La Liga's best franchises this season. Luka Modrić follows closely behind Benzema with a 97-overall rating after displaying a brilliant defensive effort throughout the season. Closing out the top three is Pedri, the 19-yer-old midfielder from Barcelona, who sports a 96-overall rating.
