Of the many redesigns Wonder Woman has had, DC's latest gives her a totally new aesthetic. The cover of DC: Mech #2 showcases the Amazon warrior, but not as fans are used to seeing her. Instead, she is in a mech suit of her own.
The upcoming miniseries, DC: Mech tells the story of DC's greatest heroes with a Mech twist. Following World War II, parademon mechs invaded Earth. The planet's superheroes adapted, building mech suits of their own. Instead of being standard heroes as fans know them, they are mech warriors preparing to face a new threat. This is the World's Finest as fans have never seen them before — especially where Wonder Woman is concerned.

DC: Mech #2 has the creative team of Kenny Porter and Baldemar Rivas. The cover for the issue features Wonder Woman's mech front and center. The design is astonishing and likely very different from what fans may have expected. It channels a gladiatorial aesthetic, shifting up her weaponry from her Lasso of Truth. That's not to say the lasso will be foregone entirely within the series since it has yet to release, but her go-to weaponry now seems to be this classic combination. This weapon pairing is one Wonder Woman has often shifted between and it will be exciting to see her «War Machine» in action.
Since Wonder Woman just celebrated her eightieth-anniversary last year, it's no surprise that Diana has undergone numerous redesigns.
