Marvel Studios has opened up the multiverse in its recent movies and TV shows, and withDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnesscoming out later this year, fans have variants on brain. This fan uploaded a few ideas for who could play Fantastic Four member Sue Storm and her many multidimensional variants in the MCU.
In the images uploaded to m.desgin34, several well-known actresses are transformed into theFantastic Four character through the magic of Photoshop. First, there's actress Anya Taylor-Joy, who is best known for her recent work on the Netflix limited series The Queen's Gambit,as well as 2021's Last Night In Soho.Joy is known for playing highly intelligent and stoic characters, which would make her a good fit for the science-based superhero team. Next, there's English actress Ella Balinska, who recently starred in the 2019 Charlie's Angels reboot. While Sue Storm is often portrayed as a white blonde woman in the comics, many fans have pushed for a more multi-racial and diverse Fantastic Four.The 2015 film adaptation of The Fantastic Four applied a similar switch, with Black Panther actor Michael B. Jordan portraying Sue's brother Johnny Storm opposite Kate Mara as his adopted sister. While there was some fan pushback towards Jordan's casting (as there always is), many fans have pointed out that neither character's skin color is really all that important to their character, thus giving filmmaker's the opportunity to cast color-blind.
