Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of September 18, 2023 to September 24, 2023.
The retail release of Pikmin 1+2 for Switch was the highest selling new title of the week, opening at 23,941 copies sold. Lies of P for PlayStation 5 followed as the second highest selling new release with opening sales of 9,493 retail copies sold.
On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 72,590 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 46,729 units, the Xbox Series family sold 9,058 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 702 units.
