Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of August 21, 2023 to August 27, 2023.
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon was the highest selling new release and overall game of the week, moving 115,393 units on PlayStation 5 and 47,949 on PlayStation 4 for an opening week total of 163,342 retail copies sold.
On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 71,702 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 42,730 units, the Xbox Series family sold 3,440 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 672 units.
