If you like the novel Dynamic Island concept rolled out on the iPhone 14 Pro models and are eyeing the iPhone 15, then there may be good news for you this year. Apple had introduced the new pill-shaped Dynamic Island on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, these models carry a hefty price tag. Now, Apple is likely to introduce the Dynamic Island in the vanilla iPhone 15, GSMArena reported after having seen renders shared on Chinese website Weibo. That means, the vanilla iPhone 15 model and the iPhone 15 Plus will also ditch the older notch display and get the Dynamic Island.
Apart from this, the report also suggests that the iPhone 15 series is rumoured to have thinner uniform 1.5mm bezels across the entire display. However, these iPhone 15 models will retain the standard 60Hz refresh rate display. This simply means the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will miss the Always-on Display which is available on the Pro models.
Apple had introduced the Always-On display on iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max. Due to this, it has also been made possible to roll out a refresh rate as low as 1 Hz and that too with the new low-power mode. This improved technology allows the display to dim the entire Lock Screen and still show helpful information, like widgets, time and wallpaper.
Apple iPhone 15 is tipped to get the A16 Bionic chipset. Another major upgrade could be possible in the camera department. From the current 12MP, it may be boosted to 48MP. Plus, you can also expect the arrival of a USB-C port instead of the old lightning port.
