Capcom has produced a lot of interesting and influential games over the years, from Mega Man to Resident Evil, but even so, the upcoming Exoprimal manages to stand out from the rest. In this newly announced shooter, players form teams of exosuit pilot and battle tides of dinosaurs that are teleporting into near-future Earth through mysterious portals. Exoprimal isn't quite the Dino Crisis revival that fans of the latter series might have hoped for, but it looks like a compelling action-heavy, dinosaur-battling romp nonetheless. While further Exoprimal details won't come to light just yet, Capcom has teased a few details, such as the different types of exosuits.
In Exoprimal, the various Anthem-like exosuits belong to one of three categories. There are Assault suits, which are meant for dealing damage, Tank suits that distract the enemy, and Support suits that provide healing, buffs, and debuffs to a team. While these are standard categories, players are encouraged to master all of Exoprimal's gear, because fans can switch between different suits in the heat of battle. Out of all these suits, the Deadeye seems like a great suit to pick up first. In Exoprimal, the Deadeye is the bread-and-butter damage dealing suit, allowing players to fight back dinosaur hordes from decent range.
