ComingSoon is excited to debut a School of Magical Animals 2 clip that shows off a magical penguin in the newly released sequel. It is an adaptation of Margit Auert’s bestselling children’s book series.
Directed by Sven Unterwaldt, the film picks up after the original, with more students getting magical animals as they prepare for the school’s anniversary show and learning lessons along the way. It stars Emilia Maier, Loris Sichrovsky, Lilith Johna, Leonard Conrads, Emilia Pieske, Nadja Uhl, Justus von Dohnányi, Heiko Pinkowski, and Milan Peschel. Blue Fox Entertainment will release the film nationwide in theaters starting today.
“The students of the school of magical animals want to perform a musical for the school’s anniversary,” reads the synopsis. “Will the rehearsals end in chaos or will the class pull together? And what’s up with the strange holes on the school grounds? With the help of their magical animals, the children learn what really matters: teamwork.”
