Dawn of Ragnarok, an upcoming expansion for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, will feature some incredible powers for Odin to wield during the god's journey to reclaim Baldur. Out of all the new mechanics coming with Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok, the Power of Gods ranks among the top of Ubisoft's most innovative revamps to the Assassin's Creed system. Neither of AC Valhalla's first two DLCs gave Eivor access to powers such as the ones seen in the upcoming March expansion, so players will get to experience gameplay that feels completely new.
Odin's new godly powers aren't immediately available once players start the Dawn of Ragnarok playthrough. As the trailer released on February 10 indicated, Odin receives an artifact known as the Hugr-Rip from the Dwarven peoples living in Svartalfheim. This artifact — which has many similarities and looks to resemble the Assassin's Creed series' hidden blade — grants Odin access to the Power of Gods. The Hugr-Rip replaces Eivor hidden blade but will function in the same way with the extra godly powers. In order for Odin to receive these godly powers, the Hugr-Rip must be equipped then used to physically transfer energy from enemies to Odin.

Odin's Hugr-Rip offers three new godly powers in Dawn of Ragnarok: The Power of Jotunheim, The Power of Muspelheim, and The Power of Winter.
