Demi Burnett is one of the biggest personalities in Bachelor Nation, and it might be time to cast her as the next The Bachelorette. Often producers select Bachelorettes from the rejects of the prior Bachelor season. However, this isn’t always the case as Tayshia Adams, and Claire Crawley became Bachelorettes after joining Bachelor In Paradise. Considering that fans aren’t loving Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor, selecting a Bachelorette, like Demi, with a longer track record in Bachelor Nation could be a good move. Demi has built an enormous fan base since her Bachelor debut on Colton Underwood’s season. Ever since luring Colton away in a bathrobe for a massage, she’s made unfiltered commentary and unapologetic efforts to go after what she wants as her entire brand.
Demi’s authenticity and sense of authority have always been a breath of fresh air. She also became famous for bringing Kristian Haggerty onto BIP season 7, becoming the first queer couple in Bachelor history. The pair eventually got engaged but broke up in October 2019. Demi’s second run as on BIP wasn’t as successful on the romantic front, but she proved her star power once again. After Brendan Morais rudely dismissed Maurissa Gunn’s questioning of whether he planned to leave paradise, Demi shut him down, saying,“don’t disrespect her like that.” After Brendan labeled her and the other women “disgruntled females,” she proudly plastered the label on her Twitter bio.
