Every movie and show coming to Netflix in August
Even with Netflix’s recommendation algorithm serving you new movies, new TV shows, and original programming tailored to your viewing habits, the streaming service’s firehose of content makes what’s coming and going difficult to parse.
Netflix is once again trying to make a live action anime adaptation happen, with One Piece premiering at the end of the month. But before then, take some time for family, family, family, family, as five Fast and Furious movies race onto the platform. If that’s not enough family for you, check out Paddington, The Bee Movie, and The Monkey King.
August is also the perfect month to do a double feature of the remarkably similar 2011 movies Friends With Benefits and No Strings Attached, where Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher star in two completely separate movies about friends who start to casually hook up (with Justin Timberlake and Natalie Portman, respectively).
