Here's every cameo Ben Affleck has made in Kevin Smith's View Askewniverse. Before Ben Affleck and best bud Matt Damon broke through with Good Will Hunting, the pair were struggling actors trying to find their way in the business. One of Affleck's earliest roles of note was playing a villain in Kevin Smith's Mallrats, the director's follow-up to his indie hit Clerks. While Mallrats wasn't a hit — though it later became a cult favorite — and Affleck and Smith became regular collaborators.
Affleck fronted Smith's rom-com Chasing Amy in 1997, while he and Damon both headlined Smith's controversial religious satire Dogma. Sadly, in later years as their careers took different paths, Smith and Affleck became estranged. To the delight of their fans, the duo has since rekindled their friendship, after Smith reached out to his old friend about appearing in 2019's Jay And Silent Bob Reboot (which has MANY cameos).

Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back was the all-star «finale» of the View Askew saga, with Smith originally intending to end the series and move on to other projects. The movie is thick with cameos, including Damon, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Jason Lee, Chris Rock and many more. Affleck actually plays two roles, reprising Holden from Chasing Amy, who co-created the Bluntman and Chronic comic series based on Jay and Bob. Affleck later appears as himself alongside Damon, reprising their roles in the fake sequel Good Will Hunting 2:
