Actor Ethan Hawke, who is portraying the mysterious new villain in Moon Knight, has recently revealed why he is so excited for audiences to finally see the show, although it looks like one special episode comes to his mind in particular. Moon Knight is the latest MCU series to be released and available for streaming through Disney Plus.
The Marvel Studios show mostly follows main character Marc Spector, who will be portrayed by Oscar Isaac, marking his official initiation into the MCU. Moon Knight is set to deeply explore the realms of mental health issues in tandem with superhero strength, which creates an epic anti-hero effect. Spector happens to live with dissociative identity disorder, meaning he finds himself alternating and shifting between multiple different personalities that exist within him. One of his most infamous alters is Steven Grant, a museum gift-shop attendant. On the contrary, Hawke plays the evil cult leader Arthur Harrow, who worships the sinister ancient Egyptian god Ammit. Harrow eventually ends up trying to persuade Spector to surrender to his innermost darkness.
