Following the latest story trailer for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, developer FromSoftware has confirmed the subtitle languages available at launch. There are 15 in total, including English, French, Polish, Korean, Portuguese-Brazil, Japanese, Korean and so on, like in the base game. However, the expansion also adds Arabic as a new option.
Character voices only support English, but the addition of Arabic should allow even more fans to follow along with the story. The expansion involves Miquella, Malenia’s brother, venturing into the Land of Shadow with players pursuing him. As the first place Marika touched, it saw an untold war break out, with Messmer the Impaler dousing the world in flames.
What happened remains to be seen, but players can look forward to new weapon types, bosses, a new region to explore and more. Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree launches on June 21st for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC, retailing for $39.99. It’s FromSoftware’s largest expansion to date.
