From Software has released the latest 1.06 update for Elden Ring, which introduces balance changes and updates to how summons and invasions work.
According to the developer, in update 1.06 it’s added a new option that will allow players to increase the number of areas where their summon signs can be seen and invasions can take place.
“We hope you will try this new feature and find more enjoyment while interacting with other players in Elden Ring,” it said.
In addition, Greatswords, Curved Greatswords and Great Hammers have been buffed, and the Corpse Piler weapon skill and Bloodhound Step Ash of War have been nerfed.
Elden Ring was released on February 25 and had shipped 13.4 million units worldwide as of March 31, according to publisher Bandai Namco.
The From Software game, which was released to hugely favourable reviews, was a huge sales hit for Bandai Namco, comfortably outselling physically the previous biggest ‘Souls’ boxed launch, 2016’s Dark Souls 3, by 26% in the UK.
The NPD Group has tipped Elden Ring to end 2022 as the best-selling title in the US market.
