An example of this was shared by Reddit user Schneizel_, who pointed out an intersting detail about the Divine Towers that one wouldn't necessarily realize if it was their first time playing the game.

When players first step out into Limgrave to begin their Elden Ring adventure, they can actually see all of the game's Divine Towers from the starting point, as pointed out in the Reddit post. The Divine Towers are important locations in Elden Ring if players want to get the most of their boss fight victories, though they aren't required to actually beat the game.
In Elden Ring, beating a boss nets players with a ton of regular runes that they can spend to level up, along with what is called a Great Rune. Great Runes have to be activated by visiting their specific Divine Tower, with six of them featured in the game. The Great Runes give players various bonuses that they can use to make their character that much better, which can in turn make players more efficient when trying to survive in the game world and fight tougher bosses.
