Elden Ring is still at the top of sales charts, with millions of players playing FromSoftware's epic open world action-RPG to this day. There are many Elden Ring players that have dedicated a ridiculous amount of time to the game, though one player recently showed off their absurd playtime that's even more mind-boggling when one considers how long it took them to hit it.
Reddit user NotUrAvgDbdPlayer recently shared an image for their Elden Ring playtime, which claimed that they have played the game for 857 hours, 38 minutes, and 27 seconds. The post also claimed that NotUrAvgDbdPlayer hasn't had Elden Ring since launch, and instead has only owned the game for about two months. If true, it makes their 857 hour playtime that much more astonishing, as it would mean playing the game for an average of more than 12 hours per day.

Various users who commented on the post have expressed their doubts that NotUrAvgDbdPlayer earned their Elden Ring playtime through genuine play, accusing them of leaving their console on or AFK rune farming. NotUrAvgDbdPlayer has denied those claims, and they have also pushed back the idea that they don't have a life outside Elden Ring, saying they work 40 hours per week at a job, go to the gym, and do other things besides playing the game.
