There's nothing worse than getting so close to killing a boss, only for it to pull a surprise and use one move that makes everything fall apart. In this case, a boss managed to pull themselves out of a bullying attempt.
There are multiple boss arenas in Elden Ring, scattered across The Lands Between, called Evergaols, which hold specific bosses imprisoned within. These are usually optional challenges for the player to overcome and include bosses like the Crucible Knights. Of these bosses is one known as Alecto, Black Knife Ringleader, who killed Godwyn the Golden. Her boss fight is difficult due to her fast movements, aggressive nature, and ability to close the distance between her and the player with ease.

One player was trying to bully Alecto when she was given the chance to take the player out for good. Posting to r/Eldenring, user FalallucciD uploaded a video of them bullying Alecto. They are stun-locking her in a corner against the ledge of an arena, getting the chance to stagger her and do additional damage multiple times. It almost seems like the player has the victory well in hand when suddenly Alecto dodges out of the way of the attack after the player has to readjust so they don't fall off, and slashes at the player, forcing them off the ledge to their death, a common way to die in Elden Ring.
