Redditor UnknownZealot77 shares a video of a PvP encounter in Elden Ring in which they cleverly use stealth to hide from the host. The invader gets summoned to Stormveil Castle and immediately starts crouching. However, the host’s partner sees them and uses a magic attack, causing them to run away. It should be noted that hosts in Elden Ring do not know the invader’s location, while the person invading can see a marker for the host's location on their compass, which disappears when their target is nearby.
The player then travels across rooftops and balconies, similar to the Assassin’s Creed games, and finds a perfect hiding spot in a room with a Site of Grace. The host and their partner run across the room and never notice the invader crouching next to the door.
