Early Five Nights At Freddy's Reviews Are Certified Rotten

Five Nights at Freddy's is the next big video game adaptation to hit the big screen, following raging successes such as HBO's The Last of Us and Netflix's The Witcher series. Unfortunately for director Emma Tammi and her team, Five Nights at Freddy's isn't nearly as well received, as it's currently getting absolutely slammed on Rotten Tomatoes, with big critics calling it a snoozefest and not as scary as the video games that it's based on.

Head on over to Rotten Tomatoes right now, and you'll see that the Five Nights at Freddy's movie is currently sat at a dismal 30 percent, which has been dropping fairly consistently throughout the day. It's not the worst score that a video game adaptation has ever received, especially when it comes to horror game adaptations, but it does make Five Nights at Freddy's one of the worst-rated films of 2023, which will still be a blow to those behind the scenes.
