The original series, saw much of its popularity due to a combination of the love for college football, and the differences it had from the professional variant. Also, though it is just in previews, the gameplay seems smoother, and the features seem more robust.

Taking a page from what has done recently, the created player modes will seemingly be more immersive as players navigate the life of a college athlete. The title will also be adding its version of Ultimate Team, which is arguably the most popular mode among fans, and profitable for EA with its often controversial microtransactions.

EA Sports is releasing two football games back to back, leaving players to wonder which game they should pick: College Football 25, or Madden NFL 25?

will have NFL pros joining the long roster of possible players in Ultimate Team. No specific requirements have been outlined yet, but based on the examples given, it will likely be limited to the biggest names in the game. With these factors combined, there would be no reason to play regular outside the different story experience. This is unlikely to kill the franchise as a whole, but it could very well dwindle 's player count to abysmal lows. However, this could be a good thing in
