EA calls on players not to spoil Jedi: Survivor, as street date broken
Electronic Arts employees have called on players with early access to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor not to share story spoilers ahead of its official release later this week.
As has become typical for major releases, users on social media began reporting they’d acquired physical copies of the sequel early this weekend and shared spoilers from the game. This led to an official response from EA’s Star Wars Twitter profile.
“No spoilers!” it wrote. “We’re beyond excited for everyone to experience #StarWarsJediSurvivor this week! We ask that you please be mindful of others and avoid posting or sharing spoilers. And remember, BD is watching!”
Pete Stewart, a writer at developer Respawn, shared his own plea: “Please, friends, don’t spoil the game. We all worked very hard to create something that hopefully surprises and delights you all.
“I know a lot of people will be upset to see spoilers before they get to play, and for us it’s REALLY disheartening to see as well. Be kind, y’all.”

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will release for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC this Friday, April 28.
