Dungeon Hunter 6 launches on October 13, but developer Goat Games has already announced its first crossover. No, it’s not with something that makes sense, like Diablo Immortal.
It’s with Nickelback.
Yes, that really does deserve its own paragraph. Dungeon Hunter 6 will host a crossover with one of the biggest rock bands of the 2000s. No, it’s not April 1. This is actually happening.
What’s unclear though is how this collaboration will actually work. The exact description invites players to “team up as they immerse themselves in the game’s epic battles and action-packed gameplay”.
That’s a lesson in how to write a sentence that says nothing.
“The partnership is looking to add to the overall hype of the game’s imminent launch across Europe, North America and Oceania next month.”
Yep, still have no idea what to expect.
“When the game is released on October 13th, players can expect Nickelband’s rock ballads to serenade them with electrifying hits.”
Yes, they really did call Nickelback “Nickelband”.
Okay, joking aside, it seems that the collab will basically have Nickelback songs playing in the background while you play. Way to put people off the launch, eh, Goat Games?
I’m sorry, I just can’t help myself. If you can’t help yourself getting excited for this collaboration, go ahead and pre-register for Dungeon Hunter 6 right now on Google Play.
