Drew Barrymore has shared a sweet story and photo of meeting Spider-Man: No Way Home star Tom Holland back in 2011. Holland is an English actor, best known for portraying Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Holland made his MCU debut as Spider-Man in 2016 in Captain America: Civil War. He would go on to star in a solo Spider-Man trilogy for the MCU, with the third and last film, Spider-Man: No Way Home, premiering on December 17, 2021. The film has proved to be a huge hit with Spider-Man: No Way Home to become the 4th highest-grossing film of all time at the US box office.
Today, Holland has risen to become one of Hollywood's biggest stars and is in a high-profile relationship with Spider-Man co-star Zendaya. He started his career with a focus predominantly on dancing and acrobatics. It was while he was participating in a hip-hop class that he was spotted by Billy Elliot talent scouts and cast in Billy Elliot The Musical in 2008. He would go on to nab his debut feature film role in The Impossible in 2012. While it would be several more years until Holland achieved his Spider-Man fame, he was already catching the attention of many during those early days of acting.
