What could the Season 3 Mythic+ dungeon rotation look like? We speculate on what the dungeon rotation could be.
A big part of the Season 2 dungeon rotation was related to themes of the patch combined with some fan favorite dungeons. We had the addition of Neltharion's Lair in a patch all about Neltharion. Underrot, a dungeon all about purging corruption, before it spreads. Freehold and Vortex Pinnacle were some fan favorite dungeons, although many people wouldn't have guessed Vortex Pinnacle since it was a Cataclysm dungeon.
We may be able to speculate some of the dungeons based on the relation to the patch and how much players would want to see them again. Of course, this is all speculation and we'll have to wait to see what the dungeons are when Blizzard announces them.
We know that the Dawn of Infinites Megadungeon will be split into two for Season 3, so that leaves 6 spots for other dungeons! Let us know what your thoughts would be, and I'm listing my thoughts below.
These two dungeons were highly regarded back in MoP when they were reworked. With an environment reworkm a possible return to Old Scarlet Monastery hinted at in Patch 10.1.7 and it's likely connection to the Undead Heritage Armor storyline, these seem like they'd be a prime pick for a Mists of Pandaria dungeon.
These dungeons would need some work to get them up to Dragonflight standards, but they've done it with Vortex Pinnacle and Temple of the Jade Serpent, so I think this would be possible.
Another fan favorite reworked dungeon. Doesn't make as much sense lore-wise currently but post-rework had some interesting bosses that would likely scale
