Dragon's Dogma 2 Gets a Free Trial for a Limited Time on PS5 | Push Square
If you've been tempted to try Dragon's Dogma 2 but you're yet to pull the trigger on a full purchase, you may want to give this new trial a shot. Available to download now on PS5, this is a two-hour preview where you can transfer your progress over to the game proper. There is a catch, though, in that the trial is only accessible between now and the 18th July.
Just to be clear, this isn't a PS Plus Premium trial — it's basically a demo.
Honestly, we'd recommend trying it out. Despite rave reviews from critics, Dragon's Dogma 2 has proven to be divisive across both fans of the first game and total newcomers. It does feel like one of those games where players who enjoy it really enjoy it — and that could be you!
It's also worth mentioning that there's a separate character creation demo for Dragon's Dogma 2, so we'd suggest making your hero (and your constant pawn companion) in that before diving into the free trial. There's a lot of depth to the character creator, and you don't want that process to eat into the trial's two-hour time limit.
