Bandai Namco has confirmed that it'll host a Summer Showcase at Anime Expo this year, which could be where we see more information on the long-awaited Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4.
This year's announcement of Budokai Tenkaichi 4, the first game in the series for more than a decade, rocked the Dragon (eyyy) Ball Z community even more than the announcement of FighterZ did. Since then, we've heard practically nothing about the game (save for the fact that it's reportedly titled Sparking Zero in Japan) as it didn't even make an appearance at Xbox's Summer Showcase, despite Bandai previously showing off Dragon Ball games there.

That's left the Dragon Ball community wondering when our next chance at seeing the game is. Thankfully, just days after the end of Summer Game Fest, we've got another upcoming event to pin all of our hopes on - Anime Expo. As pointed out by Twitter user NinjaStormCo, who has previously leaked details on Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections, Bandai Namco recently confirmed that it'll be appearing at Anime Expo on July 1 with a dedicated gaming showcase.
According to the official Anime Expo schedule, that hour-long showcase is titled "Bandai Namco Entertainment Summer Showcase 2023" and will feature Bandai revealing new announcements for its upcoming games. Although no games have been confirmed to make an appearance at the showcase so far, there are a few obvious contenders for what will show up.
Two picks that seem guaranteed to be there are Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections and Sand Land, both of which are scheduled for this year and made appearances at Summer Game Fest. There are some other likely choices,
