The Dragon Ball Super Project Gallery has returned with a new redesign of the classic series' cover art by Spy X Family mangaka, Tatsuya Endo. This is the eighth cover of forty-two, celebrating the upcoming 40th anniversary of the hit series. This redesign is very true to the original.
Dragon Ball began serialization in Weekly Shōnen Jump in 1984. It has seen immense success over the last several decades, with no sign of slowing as the 40th anniversary looms. To celebrate the occasion, the forty-two covers of the series are being revisited and reimagined by other mangaka in the industry, up through November 2024. Previous mangakas whose reimagined Dragon Ball covers have been revealed include Masashi Kishimoto (Naruto), Tite Kubo (BLEACH), Osamu Akimoto (Kochikame), Ryuhei Tamura (Beelzebub), Tatsuki Fujimoto (Chainsaw Man), Koyoharu Gotouge (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon Slayer), and Shinohara Kenta (Witch Watch).

On Twitter, Shonen Jump News shared the redesign of Dragon Ball Volume 15 from Tatsuya Endo. The cover features Goku and Krillin driving in a Capsule Corps car, with a few detail adjustments and a new artistic style. The fifteenth volume features another of the «Strongest Under the Heavens» tournaments, pitting Goku against Taopaipai in cyborg form and brings back Goku's future wife, Chi-Chi. Dragon Ball loves its tournament arcs and this is a fun one to revisit.
