As Crunchyroll has been announcing and appropriately hyping recently, the upcoming spring season of content on the platform is going to be incredibly exciting--all of Funimation's content will be under its umbrella under one subscription. Finally, Crunchyroll has announced its full set of movies, shows, and other original content for next season--here's what you can expect to watch on the streaming service in the coming months.
The incoming content that most deserves special mention are the new series coming to the platform, such as Spy x Family on April 9. A synopsis is as follows: «World peace is at stake and secret agent Twilight must undergo his most difficult mission yet--pretend to be a family man. Posing as a loving husband and father, he'll infiltrate an elite school to get close to a high-profile politician. He has the perfect cover, except his wife's a deadly assassin and neither knows each other's identity. But someone does, his adopted daughter who's a telepath!» (Tomodachi Game arrives a few days before on April 5.)
Although not newly announced, on March 15 Crunchyroll shared that the iconic anime series Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT are now available to watchon Sony's Crunchyroll streaming service in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. That's more than 500 episodes of these series that until now were only available on Funimation--and you can watch it right now.
