Moro is an immortal sorcerer who derives his power from the planets he consumes, feeding on and growing stronger from the deaths of trillions. Moro’s power source makes him the scariest villain Goku and Vegeta have ever faced, and it also makes him the most powerful.
In Dragon Ball Super Chapter 59 by Akira Toriyama and Toyotarou, Goku finally arrives on Earth after spending months off-world training to fight the villainous Moro. When he gets there, he finds Moro and his army waiting, held back by the remaining fighters of Earth. When Goku challenges the mighty Moro to combat, both have a little surprise waiting for the other in a fight that truly reveals Moro’s epic power.

When Goku came back from training, he was able to master Ultra Instinct Sign, a form of Ultra Instinct that gives the user bursts of the angelic power. While Moro is surprised to see a Saiyan wielding the power of a god, the sorcerer is not worried in the least. While Goku was training, Moro was traveling across the cosmos consuming planet after planet, making himself stronger than he had ever been before. When he unleashes his true might, Moro demolishes Goku until the Saiyan doesn’t have enough energy left to continue using Ultra Instinct Sign.
