Warning: spoilers for The Thing #5 are ahead.
Being a master of the mystic arts, and the barrier between Earth and dark, magical dimensions, it's understandable that Doctor Strange from Marvel Comics would keep some pretty powerful weapons and artifacts in his arsenal. One of these weapons is a dagger similar to Wolverine's claws, with a much more lethal edge to it. Sadly, for the mutant, this weapon makes his claws look like a child's plaything more than anything else.
In The Thing #5 by Walter Mosley, Tom Reilly, and Jordie Bellaire, an embodiment of Death, one that takes the form of a human woman called Amaryllis Dejure, is chased by Terrax the Tamer. During the chase, he calls Amaryllis something terrible, and it's enough to make her stop and confront him. Amaryllis admits she was willing to let him live, and once Terrax gets in her face, not realizing that she is actually Death, she stabs him with a knife she claims to have been given by Doctor Strange.

After Amaryllis stabs Terrax, she explains what the weapon is capable of, while the haunting artwork reveals what the weapon is doing to Terrax's body. "At first, it tickles," she says. "But when I let go of the shaft, the blade splits into a thousand tendrils that will pierce every part of your body." Terrax is given one panel to grasp an understanding of what is happening to him, before tiny needles erupt from beneath his skin in the next. It looks just as horrible as it sounds, and soon after the former herald of Galactus drops to the ground, dead.
