Monsters at Work season 2 is officially happening at Disney+. After the smash success of the twoMonsters, Inc. movies, 2001's Monsters, Inc. and 2013's Monsters University, Disney Pixar announced its plans to continue the franchise with a spinoff series on its new dedicated streaming platform, Disney+. Monsters at Work premiered in July 2021, chronicling the story of the Monsters Inc. Facilities Team (MIFT) as they assisted the factory in harvesting energy from laugh power. In the new show, John Goodman and Billy Crystal return as James P. «Sulley» Sullivan and Mike Wazowski, with Ben Feldman, Mindy Kaling, Henry Winkler, Lucas Neff, and Alanna Ubach playing new characters. Earlier, Winkler suggested that season 2 would happen, and now there is official confirmation about the same.
Now, Disney+ confirms that Monsters at Work season 2 is officially a go. The streamer put together an adorably hilarious clip for its announcement, making clear that the story of Monstropolis would continue for another season.
