is going to have its official launch this December after having spent over a year in Early Access, but the original plan of being free-to-play seems to have vanished. There are many editions available, including three Founder's Packs available before the release and three editions that will be available at launch. With all of these options, it can be easy to get overwhelmed with which to purchase.
People who have been enjoying playing over the past year have already purchased a Founder's Pack to play and do not need to re-buy the game. There will be an upcoming expansion pass for the game called that will be an additional charge of $29.99; however, people will need a copy of the base game in order to play. More on that, as well as all upcoming updates and information on the game, will be revealed at a Showcase on November 1, 2023.

When initially launched in Early Access in 2022, it was said that the game would be free-to-play once the full launch occurred, or players could purchase a Founder's Pack to play the game throughout its Early Access period. Recently, however, that idea changed with an announcement that the game will no longer launch as a free-to-play game, with an explanation on the website that it will remain a paid game so that developers «will be able to continue delivering on a premium game experience for all players.» Free content updates for new characters, clothing, and more will continue as they have thus far.
