Disney Dreamlight Valley’s “biggest story update yet” will arrive for free tomorrow, from 7th June, on PS5 and PS4. As previously reported, the Remembering will mark the arrival of the Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother, who’ll move into the Forgotten Lands’ mysterious Pumpkin House, which has been sitting unoccupied up until now. She’ll have her own set of Friendship Quests, but crucially it looks like she’ll contribute significantly to the overarching narrative in Gameloft’s hit slice of life title.
Of course, this being the game’s fifth major expansion, there’s much more to look forward to. Some of the flagship features mentioned in the release’s latest patch notes include the addition of umbrellas for rainy days, the ability to customise furniture with unique patterns and decorations, and the option to place multiple player houses around the map. This means you can now have several abodes if you choose to – a welcome upgrade, in our opinion.
On top of all the free stuff, Gameloft has also made some adjustments to the premium store’s weekly updates, and it’ll be expanding the list of available items with new tool skins, so you can look the part while you busy yourself about your village. And if you’re playing on the PS5 specifically, your valley is about to get a lot more varied, as there’ll be an option in the settings to increase the number of unique placeable objects from 1,200 to 6,000!
Elsewhere, the latest premium Star Path will centre on celebrating Pixar, with items inspired by the likes of Inside Out, Finding Nemo, and more. This is all the next phase in a stacked roadmap for the release, which will see major additions like multiplayer, a new tool, and much more added by the end of the year. Will you be knocking on
