The first State of Play showcase of 2023 has been and gone, with Sony taking the digital stage to reveal a lengthy look at Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League alongside new PSVR2 titles and more games from its partners. Clocking in at an impressive 45 minutes, the platform holder had a lot to show.
New game announcements included Baldur's Gate 3 and various PSVR2 titles. Resident Evil 4 was also there with a new trailer, and so too was Street Fighter 6 to reveal some new characters.

Liam grew up with a PlayStation controller in his hands and a love for Metal Gear Solid. Nowadays, he can be found playing the latest and greatest PS5 games as well as supporting Derby County. That last detail is his downfall.
Superceded even my lowest expectations. Found it terrible personally.

Not great. A hard comedown after the previous State of Plays last year.
Hopefully we get a more heavy hitting broadcast soon.
It was mostly boring, nothing really exciting was shown or announced. Felt like I watched a bunch of youtube pre-vid ads for 40 minutes.
That was bad, both Xbox and Nintendo's recent shows have put this to shame. Capcoms bit was good but we already know about those, a couple of the VR games looked promising as does Humanity. Suicide Squad
