As of February 15th, 2023, has introduced its Season 2 content, including a new map and a Battle Pass with ranks, rewards, and operators that players are able to progressively unlock. In addition to Ashika Island as a fresh battlefield, players are able to grind for operator skins, free weapons, blueprints, and nearly 1,100 CoD Points as potential earnings. Even if players don't purchase the Premium Battle Pass for 1,000 CoD Points, each Sector tier has multiple gifts for those without enough of this in-game currency.
The most prominent feature of this Battle Pass is the new operator named Daniel «Ronin» Shinoda, a former Special Forces officer that volunteered for Armistice in the Verdansk conflict. There are also three operator skins found in the Sector tiers for players to find, which should be familiar from the best Sectors unlocked first in Season 1. These cosmetic changes are not only for Ronin at the end of the Battle Pass but also for other operators similar to those found in the first Season's tier Ranks.

Perhaps the most enticing rewards in the Season 2 Battle Pass are the new weapons, including the KV Broadside, the ISO Hemlock, and the Dual Kodachis. The Broadside has an incredibly fast fire rate despite its status as a 12 gauge shotgun with already strong damage.
One of the most popular weapons in Season 2, the ISO Hemlock assault rifle can be very strong at mid-range with little recoil for players looking to construct a no recoil loadout in . Finally, the Dual Kodachis are strong melee weapons that swing fast and have better range than other tools of this type.
