Diablo IV Act 1 Speedrun World Record - Beta Sorceress Gameplay
Speedrunners have long been delving into the world of Sanctuary — just check out speedrun.com in the Diablo category for some insanely quick clears (like less than two hours for Diablo III: Reaper of Souls!). It's no shock then that players are already cutting their teeth on Diablo IV's Open Beta content to craft optimal routes and start setting records — and the record is certainly impressive! Youtube Speedrunner Kano has set the current Act 1 campaign world record at just shy of 48 minutes, which is an incredible feat.
Players who experience the story of the Fractured Peaks and Lilith's entry into the Diablo world know that the main questline isn't short by any means, so to complete it in under an hour is seriously impressive. We're really looking forward to see what the Speedrunning community can do with Diablo IV when it fully releases — we're expecting some crazy strategies and incredibly short runs!
