The Diablo 4 Season Season 5: PTR Campfire Chat livestream is now live! In this liveblog, we will summarize all of the most interesting content, features, and quality-of-life improvements coming to the Diablo 4 Season 5 PTR!

Diablo 4 Season 5 PTR General Information

The Diablo 4 Season 5 PTR will become available on Tuesday, June 25th.
The PRT will only be available to PC Battle.net users.
PTR Notes will be available after today's livestream.
Season 5 will begin on August 6th and will end when Vessel of Hatrred goes live on October 8th.

Diablo 4 Season 5 PTR Endgame Content

Infernal Hordes will be a new endgame roguelite mode where players will be able to choose new powers in between waves of enemies.
A new boss encounter will challenge players to defeat 3 of the 5 resurrected members of the Fel Council.
Infernal Hordes will offer several chest options, including Masterworking Materials or a guaranteed item with a Greater Affix.

New Uniques in Diablo 4 Season 5 PTR

There will be over 50 new Unique and Legendary items coming to Season 5! Some of these items will be target-farmed from the new endgame content Infernal Hordes.

The Basilisk — Druid Staff

The Mortacrux — Necromancer Dagger

The Third Blade — Barbarian Sword

The Umbacrux — Rogue Dagger

Vox Omnium — Sorcerer Staff

Updates to Unique Items in Diablo 4 Season 5 PTR

Players will be able to target-farm specific Unique and Uber Unique items from Obol venors, Helltide chests, or Whisper caches.

Unique items will have higher upper limits to their rolls and higher roll variability.

Unique stat Affixes will be updated to fit the Loot 2.0 update.

«Uber» Uniques will now be a separate rarity called «Mythic» Uniques.

Class Updates in Diablo 4 Season 5 PTR

The Invulnerable Cooldown will begin once the effect ends, rather than when the effect begins.
Enemy Crowd Control effects will be reduced.

Barbarian

Barbarians will be receiving a new Unique that will act as a support item.
