Diablo 4’s second season, Season of Blood, is headed to the game on Oct. 17 — alongside the action game’s largest patch to date, update 1.2. Thankfully Blizzard has graced us with the patch notes a week early, as they’re just over 14,000 words long.

This will be especially useful for fighting the new uber endgame bosses, which are all associated with a specific kind of elemental damage.
Blizzard is also, essentially, redoing most Uniques in the game for Season 2. The studio’s developers said they updated most of these build-defining items, making them more powerful and more likely to proc in nearly all cases.
