Detective Pikachu Concept Artist Claims Pokemon Are Meant To Look Like Wieners

The latest trailer for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet showed us lots of new things. There's four-player co-op, two different professors, both of whom are incredibly sexy and already have saucy fan art, and, most importantly, Lechonk, who we would die and kill for. We also saw the new box Legendaries, Koraidon and Miraodon. The thing is, they kinda look like dicks, and apparently, this is no accident.

A concept artist who worked on Detective Pikachu, RJ Palmer, says that this is no accident. Regarding the phalic shape of a lot of 'mons, they tweeted, "Not only has this shape been integral from the beginning but I heard while working on Detective Pikachu that this was no accident."

Come to think of it, there are a lot of Pokemon that look like dicks. As shown in Palmer's tweet, Slowbro, Mewtwo, Charizard, and Quilava to name a few all have a phallic design foundation, Freud would probably insist this says more about us than Pokemon, but according to Palmer, "I am absolutely not joking, it is a strong foundational shape."

As well as dicks, there are also Pokemon that more closely resemble vaginas. Cloyster is the prime example of this. Palmer further claims, "this was indeed on purpose." Those artists at Game Freak need to get their minds out of the gutter.

Although, maybe this was inevitable. As Plamer points out, "One last thing, it has always been called Pocket Monsters which without any prior knowledge of Pokemon could literally only mean dicks. 'Wanna see the monster I have in my pocket?' come on."
