The release date for A Plague Tale: Requiem will be revealed later this month, it’s been announced.
The upcoming sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence received a new trailer during the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase on Sunday.
However, the trailer simply ended with the year ‘2022’, with no further specific release information.
Now publisher Focus Entertainment has confirmed that it will be announcing the game’s release date during its own presentation later this month.
The publisher will hosting a ‘Focus Showcase’ on June 23, which appears to be solely based on Requiem.
“Tune in on June 23 to watch A Plague Tale: Requiem’s release date reveal and an exclusive extended gameplay trailer,” the upcoming presentation’s description reads.
A Plague Tale: Requiem was first revealed in June 2021 during Microsoft‘s E3 conference.
The game will be released on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC. A cloud streaming version will also be available on Switch.
Microsoft has also confirmed that the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch, on console, PC and cloud.
