The first week of Season of the Haunted challenges can be completed in Destiny 2, officially kicking off the next chapter of the game's story. In addition to the return of new seasonal challenges every week in Destiny 2, Season of the Haunted brings new weapons, a new destination, and a complete rework of the Solar subclass for Warlocks, Hunters, and Titans. Upon launching into the game for the first time after the Season 17 update, Guardians will immediately be thrust into the action aboard the Derelict Leviathan.
Upon landing on Calus's planet-devouring ship, Guardians can immediately equip their Solar 3.0 subclass in Destiny 2 with all Aspects available. However, in order to unlock all of the Fragments and Grenade abilities, players will need to visit Ikora in the Tower after the seasonal introductory mission is over. Just as the Void 3.0 Fragments and Grenades had to be purchased with Glimmer in Season of the Risen, players will need to spend their Glimmer to unlock the missing items. Afterward, a quick meditation session at Ikora's post will unlock everything purchased.
