Destiny 2’s Witch Queen Expansion will be game-changing in many ways. From adding weapon crafting to introducing Hive Guardians, the DLC promises to be something players haven’t seen before. While there is some major stuff to look forward to, there are also some minor additions Bungie could make that will make fans extremely happy.
The studio is pulling out all stops to ensure that the upcoming season has a content overload that will also include a new raid along with the return of another classic raid somewhere down the line. However, there are some hints towards relatively minor weapon changes and additions as well.

For instance, Bungie’s community manager dropped subtle hints towards the return of a Forsaken legendary weapon and an exotic nerf via some cryptic replies to fans. As Forbes reported, one player made a request to bring the Halfdan-D Auto Rifle back which got a curious response from dmg04. Similarly, when another player requested the team to nerf the exotic Lorentz Driver, it was met with the same response. This could hint towards some much-needed balance changes and a few nice additions to the weapon pool that will significantly improve the PvP and PvE experience.
Along with these, there are also two year-one weapons returning with the Witch Queen DLC. These will be available from the Nightfall playlist and will probably have an updated perk list as well. There are also some significant changes being made to blue engram drops which will soon be pretty scarce.
Furthermore, Bungie is changing the way Banshee-44’s Gunsmith materials system works, and has advised players to spend all their bounties before the new season. The devs have mentioned
