There are less than two weeks left forDestiny 2's big yearly release in the form of The Witch Queen expansion, which will take players into Savathun's Throne World, leading them into a fight against the Lucent Brood — Hive Lightbearers with powers mirroring those of the Guardians. To fight them, players will enlist the Cabal empress Caiatl in the premise of Season of the Risen, obtaining the Light-suppressing technology developed by Psions during the events of Season of the Chosen. This includes the new seasonal artifact that Destiny 2 players will be able to wield, as seen from the new footage for the expansion.
Of course, an arsenal of new tools of destruction will also help Guardians uncover the mysteries of Savathun's Throne World and fight the Hive Lightbearers, with The Witch Queen introducing over 50 weapons and several Exotic guns. Furthermore, every class will be getting two Exotics: a Stasis one and a Light one. Destiny 2's new Exotic weapons and armor pieces will have an impact on the game's meta to a degree, but players seem to agree that one of the recently revealed ones will be particularly nasty in the Crucible.

However, players are pointing out that this might break Destiny 2's Crucible matches.
