One creative member of the Destiny 2 community has managed to perfect an outfit for their Hunter to make them resemble Minecraft's iconic and explosive Creeper mob. The vast range of cosmetic options and outfit color combinations in Destiny 2often leads to some impressive character customization from the game's community, and this isn't the first time players have created their own custom outfits inspired by other franchises throughout the world of gaming.
Speaking of inspired outfits, Destiny 2's recent collaboration with Mass Effecthas further added to the pool of cosmetics available in Bungie's solar system-spanning multiplayer RPG. This crossover has brought a new set of armor ornaments for each class in Destiny 2, and while each of these outfits comes at the cost of 2,000 silver — or around $20 each — players can still enjoy the Alliance Requisitions bundle for free by claiming it via the seasonal offerings tab in the Eververse store. This pack includes an assortment of Mass Effect-themed cosmetics, including a Ghost Shell, a Sparrow, and even a ship themed on the series' iconic Normandy spacecraft.
In fact, one of the new Mass Effect-inspired cosmetics helped make it possible for one creative member of the Destiny 2 fashion community to create their own outfit depicting the easily recognizable Creeper monster from Minecraft. The fan who put this awesome outfit together is known as JuIicious online, who proceeded to share their creation in a Reddit post which quickly caught the attention of many others in the community. While the full list of cosmetics used can be found in the original post, the envious gaze shader was used to perfect the color, with the creator also deciding that the Bombardiers would be a fitting exotic to use for the outfit build.
The designer also used the new Vakarian Cowl cosmetic from the recent Mass Effect crossover to give their Guardian glowing red eyes, which while not actually a feature of the Creeper model in Minecraft, is a detail
