Deadpool & Wolverine: Will Ben Affleck’s Daredevil Be in the Movie?
Besides Wolverine, is set to include several cameos from previous Fox-Marvel movies. But will Ben Affleck’s Daredevil also have a cameo? Here’s everything you need to know.
While Garner is already reported to be a confirmed cast member in Deadpool & Wolverine, Ben Affleck isn’t. Since his ex-wife played Elektra alongside his version of the Man Without Fear, he was also expected to show up in the movie, especially after rumors of his presence on the set.
But as per familiar insider Daniel Richtman aka DanielRPK (via ), Affleck won’t be returning as Daredevil. His Matt Murdock might be done for good. Richtman has a great track record for scoops. But since these rumors don’t officially come from Marvel, we need to take them with a grain of salt.
Deadpool & Wolverine has plenty of characters besides the two leads as Miss Minutes, Jennifer Garner’s Elektra, Colossus, Blind Al, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Dopinder, Yukio, Paradox, and Pyro are already confirmed. Lady Deadpool has also been teased in the trailer.
Past rumors have suggested that the original Fantastic Four cast, Dafne Keene’s X-23, the OG X-Men cast involving Halle Berry, James Marsden, and Famke Jansen, and Channing Tatum’s Gambit will also make appearances. But it seems that Ben Affleck’s Daredevil won’t be among the ones who return.
Whether he surprises fans in Deadpool 3 remains to be seen. But the chances of that happening are very low, compared to the other character cameos. The MCU will just continue with one Daredevil variant, played by Charlie Cox. He will return in Daredevil: Born Again and is expected to continue his journey in Spider-Man 4 beyond that.
